The company GLASKON Ltd. was registered on the 4th June 2007. The main activities of the GLASKON are insulating glass units production, glass processing, glass tempering,  fire-resistant glass cutting.

The production workshop of the company GLASKON Ltd. is located on the business park territory in Jelgava and occupies an area of 2500 m2.

In August 2007 there was established and put into operation the newest generation equipment for glass cutting and insulating glass unit montage, which is produced by the company Bystronic-Lenhardt.

Automatic line for glass cutting, produced in the Swiss enterprise “Bystronic”, consists of the following basic elements:
- Completely computerized glass warehouse with 28 racks for storage of Jumbo size glass.
- Table for automatic glass cutting with a computerized control and cutting optimization.
- Table for glass breaking.

The computerized line for insulating glass unit montage, produced by the German enterprise “Lenhardt”, consists of the following basic elements:
- Computerized wash and drying with filters for delicate water purification from admixtures and iron
- Press with an automat for inert gas (argon) filling into glass packets. The proportion of argon-gas filling and control is performed with a computer.
- Computerized robot for performance of repeated hermetization with polysulphate with a computerized control.

Ultra modern equipment provides to the company GLASKON Ltd. a possibility to produce insulating glass units with a guaranteed quality. The maximal sizes of insulating glass unit, possible to be produced, are 2.7m x 3.5m. We can work with a glass, density of which is within 3mm to 19 mm. The factory production capacity is 700 m2 of glass packets during one shift. Thus during 2 shifts the enterprise can produce even up to 400 000 m2 of glass packets during a year.

The enterprise GLASKON Ltd. cooperates with the major world’s level companies of glass production:
- Guardian
- Pilkington
- AGC (Glaverbel)
- Saint-Gobain
- EuroGlas
and receives glass directly from production factories. In the storehouse there is always a sufficient amount of the most-selling kinds of glass, and depending on the wishes of the clients we can order any kinds of glass, produced by our partners.
